These terms and conditions apply between between Le Beau Chien (hereinafter referred to as the “Pet Groomer” or “Pet Grooming Company”) and yourself as a customer of Le Beau Chien (hereinafter referred to as the “Pet Owner,” “You,” or “Your”).
PET GROOMING SERVICES
The Pet Groomer agrees to provide the following services in a professional manner
• Bath
• Haircut/Trim
• Nail Trim
• Basic Teeth Cleaning
• Ear Cleaning and Trimming (if required)
• Gland Expression (if required)
• Styling and Finishing Touches
Any additional services, including but not limited to flea/tick prevention, spa treatments, medicated baths, or skin and coat treatments, will be charged an extra fee. The Pet Owner can check and discuss this pricing with the Pet Grooming Company. The Pet Owner acknowledges that the final grooming results may vary based on the pet’s coat condition, behaviour, and specific instructions. The Pet Groomer will make every

PET OWNER RESPONSIBILITIES
The Pet Owner certifies that their pet is in good health and has been free from contagious diseases for at least 14 days prior to the appointment. The Pet Owner should ensure that their pet’s vaccinations are up-to-date, if applicable.
The Pet Owner acknowledges that all information provided in the client intake form is accurate. It is the Pet Owner’s responsibility to inform the Pet Groomer of any previous behavioural issues and whether the pet should be muzzled. If the Pet Owner fails to do so they will be responsible for any medical expenses or damage to the property resulting from their pet’s misbehaviour.
PAYMENT AND FEES
The Pet Owner agrees to pay the Pet Groomer the service fees as outlined below:
If the grooming period is extended due to special styling requests, medical conditions, or behavioural issues, an additional fee may apply.
In cases of severe matting where removal is not possible without causing stress to your pet, the Pet Groomer may recommend trimming or shearing the affected areas. There will be an additional fee charged for this process, and the Pet Owner acknowledges that the Pet Groomer will not be held responsible for any irritation, redness, or itchiness after grooming due to a matted coat.
CANCELLATION
To cancel or alter services without incurring a cancellation fee, the Pet Owner is required to provide notice at least 48 hours prior to the appointment. If a cancellation is made after this period, the Pet Groomer has the right to charge 50% of the grooming fees, which must be paid before further appointments can be made.
APPOINTMENT TIME
The Pet Owner is expected to arrive promptly at the scheduled appointment time. While every effort will be made to accommodate late arrivals, it may result in a shorter grooming session. The Pet Groomer also has the right to cancel or reschedule the appointment if the Pet Owner arrives more than 20 minutes late for their appointment.
LATE PICK-UP
The Pet Owner can opt to receive a call when the grooming services are complete or pick up their pet before a specific time. If the Pet Owner picks up their pet more than 30 minutes after this agreed-upon time, additional charges may apply.
EMERGENCIES AND ACCIDENTS
The Pet Owner acknowledges their responsibility to provide accurate and updated contact information and to inform the Pet Groomer of any known health issues or allergies their pet may have.
In the event of a medical emergency or accident, every reasonable effort will be made to contact the Pet Owner or their emergency contact immediately. If the Pet Owner or emergency contact cannot be reached in time, the Pet Owner authorises the Pet Groomer to seek the veterinary care necessary for the pet’s health, safety, and well- being. The Pet Owner shall be responsible for all associated veterinary expenses if their pet is old, in poor health, aggressive, or temperamental. In the event of an accident or incident that results in injury or discomfort to your pet, the Grooming Business will promptly document and report the incident to the Pet Owner.
